Most Sydney DJ's (or DJ's in general) gain jobs through word-of-mouth or in most cases from someone they know (& so on down the line), and just like most industries a written reference can help influence a job opportunity.
Above is a reference from one of Sydney town's most notorious & respected underground bars the "Play Bar" & like many of Sydney's recognised deejay's "DJ Lambam" had the pleasure of being part of this iconic bar and other Sydney bar & club cultures.
Next time you hire a DJ whether it be for a function, club or bar, ask if your DJ has written references (doesn't hurt to ask & definitely a plus).
